Voor het samenstellen van de lijst met goedkoopste indexfondsen, ook bekend als ETF’s en indextrackers, heeft Geldreview de gegevens van 1.591 ETF’s verzameld.
De 100 goedkoopste ETF’s, gemeten naar kostenratio, kosten 0,04% tot 0,09% per jaar. Dat is exclusief kosten voor een broker.
Een lage kostenratio is vaak leidend bij de keuze voor indexbeleggen. De gemiddelde kosten van een actief beheerd aandelenbeleggingsfonds zijn volgens het Investment Company Institute 0,83%. De gemiddelde kostenratio van de 1.591 ETF’s is 0,27%.
Passieve indexvolgers presteren op lange termijn beter dan 80% van de actief beheerde beleggingsfondsen. Dat betekent dat je met een goedkope ETF onder de streep een hoger rendement overhoud.
